HOW TO MAKE TILEPROXY WORK ON WINDOWS 8? (Testedêêêêê)
1- Install TILEPROXY
for FSX following the below steps
1.1 Download from Sourceforge (http://sourceforge.net/projects/tileproxy/)
FREE!
1.2
Follow steps on installation screens till it
is installed (according to preferences)
è Make sure its installed in FSX Folder
è Make sure the Cache folders are on Other partition for
performance purposes.
2- Enable TEST MODE
& disappear the annoying water mark
2.1 win +x
2.2 Choose Command prompt (admin)
2.3 type " bcdedit
-set loadoptions ENABLE_INTEGRITY_CHECKS "
2.4 type " bcdedit
-set TESTSIGNING OFF "
3- Do an Advanced
system restart
3.1 Move your mouse cursor to the bottom right corner
of the screen and click on the Gear “Settings”
3.2 Change PC Settings > General >
Scroll down > under Advanced start-up >
Click Restart
3.3 After restarting Click on
Troubleshooting > Advanced Settings >
Windows Startup Settings
> Hit Restart
NOW YOU ARE READY TO FLY OVER THE
BEST SCENERY EVER…THE REAL WORLD SCENERY
Remember that you might need to
re-do step number [ 3 ] if it happened and you restarted your PC and found the
TILEPROXY not working.
NB. You will need a healthy PC
with speedy internet connection to feel it J

I did all of this .. TP works, but all i see is black tiles :(

Just make surre you have chosen an active Service in the .ini File
ReplyDeletethen reset the tileproxy and the simulator.
NB. Open the tileproxy server before the simulator it will work correctly.

ReplyDeleteAlso make sure that the Resolution in the FSX.cfg matches with resolution set for Tileproxy.ini
ReplyDeleteAlso make sure that the paths for the Services caching are not directed to Partitions that require administrative privileges .
THIS DID NOT WORK!!I DID THE BCDEDITs AND RESTARTED WITH NUMBER 7 AND STUPID TILPROXE STILL GIVES ME ERRORS
